Economic Development has designed the Small Business Resource Guide for the person who is starting a business or who already has an existing business in the City of Lakewood. It includes information on licenses, permits, applications and other tools necessary to start and support a business. Please remember that the booklet serves as a guide and is not written to offer advice.

We are also currently developing our Small Business Academy and our Business Bar, in which Lakewood businesses will be able to have increased access to resources and information.

Local businesses also have the opportunity for marketing assistance with the Lakewood...Open for Business show. This show is designed to help small businesses highlight themselves on KLTV Channel 8.
