Lakewood Economic Development

Lakewood Economic Development is dedicated to sustaining a strong economic base while maintaining our community’s quality of life and vitality. We strive to create and build an environment that preserves, attracts and promotes business growth in Lakewood, Colorado.

Our mission is to retain existing employers and jobs, recruit new employers who provide our community with quality employment and to work as an advocate and information resource for businesses.

We offer programs, services and referrals for both large and small businesses that would like to relocate or expand in Lakewood. We can assist with site searches, demographics, access to training programs and information on financial sources. We can also help navigate the City’s planning and permit process, acting as a liaison between businesses and property owners who wish to develop or redevelop their properties and the City’s Development Review Division and the Public Works Department.

We strive to be an active participant in the business community and business associations, as well as provide technical assistance with special projects.

For more information on our services, to request assistance, or for general inquiries, contact us at 303-987-7050, or view our contact page here.
