  • Food Trucks: Grab a bite to eat from a Colorado food truck while you listen to the music and enjoy the beer garden. We'll have tasty menus from Farmer in the Hive, the Real Deal Juices, and Tilford's Wood Fired Pizza.

  • Sustainable Backyard: Explore our sustainable backyard and find out how you can create your own. Learn about animal husbandry (and pet sheep and goats!), sign the pledge to make your yard bee and pollinator friendly, watch a demonstration on wool spinning and find out how to go zero waste at home. You can also bring the following items to be recycled:

  • Compost Workshops: Attend a free compost workshop led by the City of Lakewood's own Master Composter Julie Elam.

  • EV Hub: Visit the electric vehicle hub to learn how switching to electric can help reduce your carbon footprint and vehicle maintenance expenses.

  • Fitness Activities: Get moving with Zumba and fitness drums led by Lakewood recreation instructors.

  • Kids Activities: Test your strength on the climbing wall, create art from recycled materials, and learn how you can protect the environment. Stay tuned for more kids activities!

  • Interactive Art and Performances: Watch throughout the day as artists from the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design create a special earth art project. Head to the gazebo at 2 p.m. for a belly dancing performance from participants in the Lakewood Cultural Center's dance program.

  • Vendors: Learn new ways to live sustainably from more than 50 vendors! Vendor applications have closed for 2019, join us next year to share your earth day message with more than 2,000 attendees.
