Notice is hereby given that the City of Lakewood, Colorado will receive Sealed Bids for BID No. 4638 for: MEADOWLARK COTTAGES BUILDING DEMOLITION AND ABATEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY SPECIFICATIONS
Bids will be received until 10AM, MT (our clock) on June 28, 2019 at the Finance Department Front Desk, Civic Center South Building, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80226, at which time they shall be publicly opened and read aloud in the Human Resources Conference Room, 1st Floor, Civic Center South Building, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
Bids received after the above specified date and time of bid opening and Bids not prepared and filed in accordance with the "Instruction to Bidders" may be rejected.
A non-mandatory, onsite job visit to review and discuss the project will be held at 10AM on June 14, 2019 at the project site located at 110 S. Cody Street, Lakewood, CO 80226.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The scope of the project includes asbestos abatement and demolition of two brick cottage school buildings. Removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials includes approximately 5886 SF of floor tile, 439 LF of exterior door/window caulk, 21,390 SF of drywall joint compound, glazing on 19 windows (120 Cody St only), 1740 LF of cove base mastic and 1600 SF of ceiling tile mastic (basement of 120 S. Cody St.).
Following asbestos abatement the work includes utility disconnects, the demolition of two,
1-story with basement brick cottage school buildings (1650 SF); salvage and recycling of materials as defined by City Demolition Waste Management Plan requirements; and legal disposal of all waste building materials. Materials contaminated or potentially contaminated with hazardous material (asbestos) are not required to be recycled.
The project is to be completed within Ninety (90) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Lakewood, Colorado will receive Sealed Bids for BID No. 4635 for: ADDENBROOKE PARK CONCRETE PROJECTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY SPECIFICATIONS
Bids will be received until 10:00 AM, MT (our clock) on June 18, 2019 at the Finance Department Front Desk, Civic Center South Building, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80226, at which time they shall be publicly opened and read aloud in the Finance Department Conference Room,1st Floor, Civic Center South Building, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
Bids received after the above specified date and time of bid opening and Bids not prepared and filed in accordance with the "Instruction to Bidders" may be rejected.
A non-mandatory, pre-bid meeting to review and discuss the project will be held on June 10, 2019 at 10AM, MT onsite at Addenbrooke Park at the southwest corner of S. Garrison Street and Park Road.
DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
The project consists of minor earthwork, landscaping and new concrete construction in four (4) separate areas of Addenbrooke Park. The project scope includes but is not limited to sod and native grass stripping, minor earthwork and grading, subgrade prep, new concrete flatwork, cast in place grade beam and curb, drainage pipe, gravel and crusher fines placement, irrigation system modification, and sodding.
The project is to be completed within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
